This October, unleash your school’s inner heroes with a ‘Become a Superhero Dog’ Day — a fun, inspiring event that helps change lives while teaching students about the incredible impact of support dogs.

Invite students and staff to dress up as heroic hounds, raise funds for Support Dogs, and become part of a nationwide movement of schools across the UK helping to save lives this October. Every donation helps provide life-changing support for children and adults living with complex medical conditions.

As part of your Superhero Dog Day, students will learn about disabilities and assistance dogs, the value of diversity within communities, and the importance of having compassion towards others. To make your Superhero Dog Day unforgettable, we’ll provide a fantastic pack filled with engaging classroom activities and inspiring resources exploring disabilities and assistance dogs. Plus, you’ll receive plenty of creative fundraising ideas and tips to help your school make the biggest impact possible.

How to get involved

• Register your group at the link below and download your resource pack
• Create your fundraising page, or decide how else you will collect donations
• Choose a date and spread the word to students and their families - let them know when your Superhero Dog Day will be and how to join in. Share your fundraising page or ask parents to send in donations on the day
• Explore your Superhero Dog Day pack, with lots of tips and educational resources to help you plan your day of activities
