National Centre Appeal

Our new national centre will allow us to help more families, train more dogs and change more lives. Learn how you can help.

The extraordinary demand for our services cannot be ignored. We are determined to grow and create a centre where we can significantly grow and expand our services.

Our vision is to develop a new state-of-the-art national centre for training assistance dogs and delivering vital care and support for children and adults living with challenging long-term conditions.

The difference this new centre will make:

  • A 300% Increase in the number of new clients we can help each year.
  • An increase from 750,000 hours of care nationally to 6.5 million hours.
  • An increase from £35 million to £100 million in savings to NHS health & social care services.
  • An increase in education sessions from approximately 3,000 a year to over 7,000.
  • A significant increase in volunteering & employment opportunities for SEND students.
  • Improved, specialist facilities to improve the training of support dog partnerships.

However, we are aware that this will take time and require our charity raising significant funds to achieve this. We have therefore split this project into four separate, manageable phases to achieve long-term success.

Between 2025 and early 2026 we completed the first phase of our project; purchasing the building, and fulfilling building work to ensure it is safe, secure and warm, ready for the internal conversion work to begin.

We are now launching an appeal for the next phase of the project; to move our charity operations to the site, create a community training arena and an area to provide the highest standard of welfare and care for our support dogs in training.
