Fundraising research and engagement We are not currently actively recruiting more fundraising research volunteers, please feel free to check if you would like to do any other volunteer opportunities with us and check back here soon to see when we restart applications What do we need Fundraising research, also known as prospect research, is research carried out for the purpose of identifying prospective donors and partners. In this role, you would assist the fundraising team with various tasks to research and support the charity to engage with new groups and partners. This can involve a range of activities including: Researching specific interest groups Researching membership clubs via geographical region Supporting the promotion of our challenge activities Updating a database to ensure accurate records Supporting community engagement activities to raise awareness about the charity. What we would need from you To be confident using a computer including using the internet for research and keeping a database of contacts up to date and sending emails. Good literacy and ability to send clear communications to people. To be interested in our work and keen to engage more people in our life-changing work. Volunteer at our centre on Herries Road South in Hillsborough What we will provide Full training will be provided. Laptop and other IT equipment to use at our centre.
